Tom Hallett

Dr. Thomas Hallett DPT, CSCS, HSCS, Cert BFR, CWT

Dr. Thomas Hallett has over 27 years of experience in both rehab and performance enhancement. He is a former college basketball player and has also personally completed several obstacle races, marathons and the Iron Man. Thomas Has worked with athletes from the NBA, NFL, college football, basketball, track, baseball, softball and swimming. Has also worked with many high school athletes both individually as well as in groups and teams. His main focus is strength, speed, agility and explosive power training as well as basketball skill training.

TJ Hallett CSCS, CPT

TJ Hallett has 5 years of experience training high school and college athletes. His focus is strength, speed, agility and explosive power. He performs basketball skill training for individuals, groups and teams. TJ is a current college basketball player and holds the 3 pointers in a game record both at his former high school and college.

Sam Rakyta

Dr. Sam Rakyta DPT, CSCS

Sam has been a Licensed Physical Therapist since 2009 and joined our PT Link team in 2014. He holds both a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2009) and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (2006) from The University of Toledo. During his time at The University of Toledo he developed a Clinical Practice Guideline for Upper Extremity Musculoskeletal Disorders and contributed to research pertaining to the influence of inflammation on muscle hypertrophy which was published in the American Journal of Physiology and Cell Physiology.

Sam is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Human Movement Specialist through the Brookbush Institute. He has earned multiple certifications in Dry Needling, Ultrasound Guided Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction and High Velocity Low Amplitude Manipulation. He also has completed the ImPACT concussion training workshop and is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor.

Clinically, Sam focuses on helping patients move better to live a pain-free life. He uses a wide variety of manual therapy techniques and corrective functional exercise to reduce common movement and posture dysfunctions that lead to pain. Sam also has extensive experience in sports medicine, orthopedics and working with patients that suffer from neck and back pain.

Sam is married to Holly, who is a PTA also at PT Link, and has two small children. In his free time; Sam enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exercising, hunting with his dad and is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes.

Dr. Craig Obrock DPT, CSCS

Craig Obrock joined the PT Link team in 2020. He earned his Bachelor’s of Applied Health Science in 2012, and later received his Masters in Business Administration in 2016. He completed his education with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. Craig is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and also certified as a strength and conditioning specialist, as well as dry needling, blood flow restriction, and an emergency medical responder. He pursued a career in physical therapy because he loves helping people with their strength and fitness. During his free time, Craig enjoys going on walks with his dogs and volunteering for his nephew’s baseball team.

Ben Gutzky

Dr. Ben Gutsky DPT, CPT

Dr. Ben Gutzky has over 10 years of experience in working with athletes and competing in different disciplines as well as 3 years of experience working clinically in rehabilitation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He is a former Division I track and field athlete as well as currently being a world level strongman athlete having competed at Official Strongman Games World Championships multiple times. Ben was a Division III Academic All-American at Heidelberg University before graduate-transferring to Youngstown State University where he was the Horizon League Champion in the weight throw. Ben’s main focus is in strength and explosive power training as well as having experience coaching throws with focus on weight and hammer throw.

Eric Snyder

Eric Snyder MSPT, Titleist Performance Institute Certified, Nutrition Coach

Eric has 21 years experience as a Physical Therapist in the Outpatient/Sport Specific setting with being certified for 16 years as a Titleist Performance Institute Instructor. He has worked with clientele including golfers, athletes (college, high school, youth), geriatric functional training and most recently became certified as a Nutrition Coach. Eric focuses on using the most recent evidence to find the root of the problem that is causing deficiencies causing pain and limitations for performance and overall fitness and working to develop plans for each individual’s goals.

Steve Szymanski

Steve Szymanski Titleist TPI certified

Steve Szymanski, PT has over 30 years of experience in Physical therapy. He is a Titleist Performance Institute Medical instructor. His background includes working with athletes from the NBA, NFL, LPGA, Korn ferry Tour, college football, basketball, track and swimming. He has also worked with many golfers of various ages and levels to help improve performance with their motion and swing. His main focus is improved mobility, strength, and swing performance.
